State Chamber of Oklahoma
Public Affairs Director
About
A journalist’s curiosity, an editor’s judgment, and a willingness to get into the details.

Founder
Reynolds Communications
I started in journalism, where the work is to ask useful questions, understand the subject, and decide what matters enough to put on the page.
That discipline carries through the rest of my work. I’ve led editorial operations at Rowing News and Oklahoma Business Voice, worked in publications and public affairs at the Irrigation Association, and directed public affairs for the State Chamber of Oklahoma.
Those roles put me close to the practical demands of running an organization: explaining a complicated issue, advising an executive, managing a publication, or building the website that supports the work.
Reynolds Communications is my independent practice. I work with associations, businesses, and nonprofits on communications strategy and the work required to carry it out. That can mean an ongoing leadership role or a specific assignment.
The practice also offers fractional nonprofit leadership, including board communications, fundraising coordination, and organizational support.
I’m based in Telluride, Colorado, with roots in Oklahoma and clients beyond either place. You work directly with me.
